Aerwave has developed proprietary technology that enables your private, secure Wi-Fi network to be delivered to your device anywhere on the property. With Aerwave, you never need to worry about locating a guest network or joining a common-area network.

Ultimately, this means that your Internet connection is always private and that your data is always secure. No matter where you are physically on the property, your device will always be connected to your own, private Wi-Fi network.

Enabling your private network anywhere at the property

Aerwave delivers Internet service over a unified, property-wide network infrastructure. This means Aerwave organizes and coordinates all of the components of the network itself at the property, both the physical network components (like fiber optic cables, wireless access points, and routers) and the software network components.

Your Wi-Fi enabled devices - like your iPhone, Smart TV, and laptop - are constantly searching for networks to join. This is why when you go to your Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone, for example, you will probably see many networks listed.

Your Wi-Fi enable device connects to the Internet by receiving and transmitting signals to a wireless access point, or what's generally called a router. This is the piece of physical equipment that you may have received from your current Internet provider.

Your private network is delivered from your router, which is usually placed in your living room or maybe a bedroom. When you are in your apartment, you can connect to your private Wi-Fi network which is delivered by the router physically located in your apartment.

The problem, of course, is that when you leave your apartment home, you don't take your router with you. This would be quite impractical! So, with your device no longer able to connect to your router (because you're not at home), you aren't able to connect to your private network.

Aerwave, by contrast, powers the delivering of your private network wherever you are in your apartment building - not just within your unit.

As I mentioned earlier, your Wi-Fi enabled device is constantly searching for networks to join, and transmitting credentials to access points to try and join those networks. Aerwave's software technology recognizes your device and creates - in real time - an instance of your network on the wireless access point nearest to you, and automatically connects your device to your private Wi-Fi network.

It is as if you had brought your own router with you. This means that no matter where you go on the property - whether you are in your own apartment home or a friends, or whether you are lounging at the pool or using the resident lounge, you will always be connected to your own, private network that you control.
